Our 2030 Vision

We need your help!

Help Us Transform Central Oregon Into A Lacrosse Hotbed

Imagine every high school field in Deschutes County alive with the excitement of lacrosse games. Picture thousands of kids discovering the thrill of their first goal, their first team victory. That's not just a dream – it's our 2030 vision for Central Oregon lacrosse.

We're Going Big, and We Need Your Help

Right now, we're at the beginning of something extraordinary. Our mission? Transform Central Oregon into an emerging lacrosse hotbed by 2030. Here's what victory looks like:

🏃‍♂️ Growing the Game:

  • Expanding from 6 to 14 boys' teams

  • Launching from 3 to 14 girls' teams

  • Building JV and Varsity programs at EVERY public high school

🌟 Creating New Opportunities:

  • Launching Sisters Youth Lacrosse

  • Establishing Redmond Youth Lacrosse

  • Bringing back Mountain View Youth Lacrosse

  • Supporting comprehensive 3rd-8th grade programs

Calling All Leaders: Help Us Build From the Ground Up

We're actively seeking passionate leaders to help establish new youth programs in Sisters and Redmond. If you have experience in sports administration, coaching, or program development – or if you're simply passionate about growing the game – we need your help. We've got the playbook, the organizational support and the program structure, but we need people to help manage programs in Sisters and Redmond. These leadership roles are crucial to bringing lacrosse to hundreds of young athletes in these communities!

📈 The Big Goals (By The Numbers):

  • 1,500 lacrosse sticks in hands - currently at 250

  • 10,000 new players introduced to the game - 1,806 currently

  • 500 PE classes reached - 77 currently

Your Role in This Evolution

There are two powerful ways you can help write this success story:

🎯 Donate: Every dollar pushes us closer to our vision:

  • Equipment for aspiring players

  • Scholarships for determined athletes

  • Affordable clinics for newcomers

  • Coach development and support

🤝 Volunteer: Share your passion and expertise:

  • Lead youth programs in Sisters or Redmond

  • Help run beginner clinics

  • Introduce the sport to new communities

  • Shape the future of Central Oregon lacrosse

The Time Is Now

This isn't just about building teams – it's about creating opportunities, fostering community, and changing lives through sport. Every stick we put in a child's hands, every new program we launch, brings us closer to our vision of Central Oregon as a thriving lacrosse community.

Together, we can make Central Oregon synonymous with great lacrosse. Will you help us write this chapter?

P.S. Our Sisters and Redmond programs need leadership teams now! If you're interested in taking a leadership role in building these programs with lots of support (we have the playbook and the organizational structure, we just need help managing those programs in those communities!), please send an email to tarin@thumplacrosse.com.
